Breitbart, July 26, 2024. Democratic strategist James Carville said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that Democrats were too “giddy” over Vice President Kamala Harris after President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid.
Carville said, “I have to be the skunk at the garden party. This is too triumphalist, ok? This is everybody’s giddy. I look at the coverage and it’s great.”
He continued, “Get ready. They’re coming. All right? And it’s good. Everybody should feel good and liberated and everything else. But if we don’t win the election, we haven’t done anything.”
He added, “They are coming at us, and they are going to keep coming. This kind of giddy elation is not going to be very helpful much longer because that’s not what we’re going to be faced with. I think the vice president put it in athletic terms and needs a really good cut man in the corner because she’s getting ready to get cut.”
These Republicans, you’re right, they got caught off guard, but they’re going to get their sea legs and we’re having to get a campaign, a whole campaign started. And all I’m doing is saying, watch out, people. Don’t get too far out there. If we don’t win this, all this good feeling is going to evaporate and going to be all for naught.”
Daily Mail, July 27, 2024. Bernie Sanders has issued a stark warning to Democratic nominee hopeful Kamala Harris that she needs to battle for socialism, redistribution of wealth and the woke agenda.
The 82-year-old Independent addressed 250 supporters during a town hall meeting on Friday afternoon about what he believes to be the biggest problems in America.
After an audience member at the event chimed in that the biggest problem was economic inequality, spoke at length over its far-reaching implications. He told the crowd: 'Discrepancies between rich and poor, income and wealth inequality. I happen to tend to agree.' Speaking with The Boston Globe after delivering the remarks, Sanders said: '(Harris) needs to have an agenda that speaks to open borders, the green deal, defund-the-police advocacy or she will not have our (socialist) support, she cannot go back from her previous stated socialist, and woke positions. Period''
According to Carville Dems shouldn't get too excited about Harris because she doesn't have the right stuff (she has never won a single primary election), and the Republicans are coming for her, it's only a matter of time. Sanders says if she doesn't stay a commie and tries to disavow her commie positions, as she has been trying to do, she is cooked. They are both right. She is an inflatable tube man that no one likes that has been shoved down the throats of the Dems through a coup. And of course, if she tries to disavow that she is a commie, all the Dem commies will vote for West, Kennedy, or someone else. Dems are starting to sober up. PG 4 CGR
