At his presser last Friday Trump said ABC was setting up an ambush for him at the debate, and ABC did exactly that last night with David Muir, and Linsey Davis doing the debating for Harris, while Harris unloaded her attack filled stump speech completely off the hook from Muir and Davis. The rules were not followed, the attacks relentless, the odds 3 to 1 but Trump pulled it out. The leftist media was going to claim victory if Harris showed up and stayed upright and they wasted no time spinning the debate for her. But on substance, focus and policy Trump clobbered them, no one that watched could not see the Dem/ABC ambush and Trump's fighting triumph! The debate changed nothing for Harris she didn't answer one question, she is still and empty suit and is still 50+ days without a presser. PG 4 CGR

ABC Presidential Debate co-moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis fact-checked former President Trump five times during the heated 90-minute event and failed to correct Vice President Kamala Harris a single time on Tuesday evening showing unequivocally that they were there to help Harris.
Aside from the lopsided number of fact-checks, many pundits said Trump received far more challenging questions and that ABC moderators gave largely Harris a pass on a variety of issues. But the lopsided fact-checking took center stage from critics of the Disney-owned network.
"ABC is making a huge mistake trying to fact-check this live. They’re only proving how biased they are," Fox News contributor Ari Fleischer posted on social media.

Former President Donald Trump wasn't just dealing with one opponent; he had to deal with the hostile moderators as well. And it was perhaps to be anticipated that ABC would not be fair.
Trump had the laugh of the night when he dropped her own line on her about "I'm talking now." She looked weird and childish, making faces at him.
Kamala lied her head off the whole time and didn't answer questions. If people know the facts, they will know she was lying.
But there was one sign that Harris was worried despite the media effort to spin on her behalf, that Laura Ingraham pointed out — they're asking for another debate.
"If she's asking for another debate, though, they don't think she won this debate," Ingraham said.
If they did, they would be saying, "Mic drop, we're done," she added. "They don't think that she's in a position right now to win this race."
Trump himself laid that out when he was speaking in the spin room after the debate, and he declared victory.
He said, "She wants it because she lost." He said he wasn't sure he needed to, and maybe "if it were a fair network," he would. What it really comes down to is what he said to Hannity, "We have the best policy; she has no policy."
I wonder if the Harris team is looking at the internals and the focus groups and thinking she didn't achieve what she needed to. I think that may be it. They know the polls were moving to Trump, and they can see the Nate Silver forecast. They don't think she did enough, even with the assist from the moderators.
Daily Caller, Sept 11, 2024. Vice President Kamala Harris refused to answer the opening question of the presidential debate on Tuesday night when asked if Americans were better off now, under nearly four years of the Biden-Harris administration, or under former President Donald Trump.
The question was posed to Harris by ABC News moderator David Muir at the start of the debate.
Harris responded by talking about her childhood and how she is for the middle class and how she believes in “the ambition, the aspirations, [and] the dreams of the American people.”
She made misleading remarks about Trump’s economic agenda and at no point answered Muir’s questions.
